HOTcopy launch

Deakin's Faculty of Arts launched HOTcopy at Colonial Stadium during the annual Journalism 2001 Conference of the Melbourne Press Club (MPC) on Friday; October 5, 2001.

The aim of the launch was to:

  • To achieve professional, industry and public recognition of the contemporary and innovative Journalism program at Deakin.

  • To demonstrate Journalism's commitment to implementing problem-based, experiential learning, as one approach to learning Journalism

  • To demonstrate Journalism's commitment to creating the resources for such teaching strategies using state-of-the-art scenario simulations involving the use of digital media objects to create flexible learning experiences for students.
