In the 2003 awards of the Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education (ASCILITE). <HOTcopy®> A virtual newsroom [version AU1.0.0] won the major award for Best Software Project demonstrating 'exemplary use of electronic technologies in teaching and learning in tertiary education'.
<HOTcopy®> Version 2 is winner of a national award in 2002 from the Australian Institute of Training and Development in the category of Innovation in Learning.
<HOTcopy®> Version 2 is winner of the Deakin University Vice-Chancellor's Award in 2002 for Outstanding Achievement in the category of Excellence in Teaching.
